Living for the weekend

We all love weekends, but have you began to dread weekdays? Do you long for the weekend and rush the hours away?

Often we don’t even realize that by doing so we are rushing our lives away. We forget that nothing beyond this moment is promised. So this is your wake up call! Today is the day that you decide to make every day count. Today is the day that you decide to start making changes to the way you operate day by day. Today you will begin looking for the things that go right instead of the things that go wrong. 

3 Steps to Reclaiming your week.

  1. Start by eliminating the stress of rushing. Prepare for the upcoming obligations beforehand so there will be no need to do things last minute.

  2. Next, give yourself something to look forward to during the week. Cook or order a favorite meal during the week. Participate in a fun activity on a week night. Which leads me to the last point.

  3. Usually we have what seems like more control over what we do on the weekends. But, if we begin to be more aware of what we allow to dictate our time and begin to that control back we could start enjoy more of the work week too. If your job is draining the life out of you and not paying the bills maybe its time to take some steps towards a new career. If friends are needy of your time and energy, but never pour back into you. Maybe its time to set some new boundaries

We must began creating the lives we want instead of waiting on them to magically appear before our eyes.
